Exhibit at the Field Day organized by the Ministry of Agriculture

On 17th March 2023, we attended a field day organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in Mzimba District, Malawi, where we are implementing our project. At this event, various organizations involved in agricultural activities in Mzimba District visit the sites where they are implementing their projects and present their projects in the field.

This time around 60 participants from various organizations visited 10 sites, including maize variety trial plots set up in farmers’ fields, improved soybean cultivation techniques, and soil conservation techniques. Our UDDT (Urine diverting dry toilet) was included in these visits and we explained how it works. As fertilizer prices continue to rise, interest in this technology, which allows people to produce their own fertilizer, was high, with many asking questions and some participants keenly observing the inside of the toilets.
