【The Field Day was organized 2】

The second one was held on 5th May in the Lusangazi area (one toilet has already been built). The aim of this field day was to further increase the number of participating farmers in the Lusangazi area.

Here, it was organized for the village head and neighboring residents and attended by about 40 people. Here, too, farmer was introduced to the toilet he uses and was able to see the crops he actually grows.

From the participating farmers,

“Having these toilets is very economical. Because it does not cost much compared to chemical fertilisers.”

“This technology is new in our community. It will be important to support our agriculture. In the field, the crop stand of compost made from the toilet exceeded that of chemical fertilizers.”

“These field days provide opportunities for farmers. Because the field days helped farmers learn how to use compost made from toilets.”

In addition to comments such as,

Many farmers asked questions about the materials needed to construct the toilet, how to apply the compost and how soon the compost would be ready for use.

Immediately after the field day, several farmers inquired about the materials needed for construction and their prices.
