The Kyoto University International Symposium will be held at the IPB University in Indonesia on December 2-3, 2025 (with live streaming).
Symposium Title: Kyoto University International Symposium 2025 on Education and Research in Global Environmental Studies in Asia – Improving Sustainable Food Systems and Livelihoods－
Purpose of the symposium: Global environmental studies require multi- and interdisciplinary approaches at an international scale, particularly in research and education among countries in Asia and beyond. This symposium provides an opportunity to discuss the improvement of sustainable food systems and livelihoods, especially in the context of international cooperation between Kyoto University and its partner institutions.
